Awesome - time for another story! Before I start, thanks for all the sharing going on, well done to Skye, Emma and Kaylin for being the first contributors! (and big thanks to Mum's and Dads for helping!! :-D).
Today's story is called 'The Way Back Home.'. It is written by Oliver Jeffers and My younger son and I loved it when he was little (I still love it now!). This is a book about a creative young man who can solve problems with an active mind. He also has a busy imagination, and may be distracted every now and then.
No ghosts today, but there is an alien...
:-)
I hope you like it as much as I do.
I love your story Millie! I think your photos is awesome too! :-) Thanks for the tip about Oliver Jeffers reads aloud. I'll check it out! Well done! :-)

When I went to the park I saw a tree. Just then the tree turned into a rocket ship. It swooped me up and then it flew into space. Noooo! It snapped in half. My half flew to the moon. Just then it ran out of power. How will I get home? I know I will use my rope to go down to the earth so I can get supplies and then I will climb back up and fix my rocket. Yay I’m back home! The End.
We love Oliver Jeffers in our house. Did you know that if you google ‘Oliver Jeffers reads aloud’ there is a website where Oliver Jeffers reads…
Fabulous Amelia... do you think it is interesting that the Penguin wants to stay with the boy. I wonder why that is? :-)
Hi Mr Day. We have a book from the same author. It is called 'Lost and Found'. It is about a penguin getting lost and a little boy helps him find his way home. But the penguin doesn't want to go home to the North Pole, he wants to stay with the little boy. It is a good book. From Amelia, Room 11
What a great story Skye! :-) I love how the way home involved so much adventure and some problem solving to help the dragon who was hurt. :-)
